Abstract

Christine is a 47-year-old child developmental therapist living in the Philadelphia area, and she talks in this chapter about her struggles with bipolar disorder and endocrine conditions and her son’s diagnosis of autism. Through support from her husband and others through the years, and through therapy, medications, and medical interventions, the author describes how she has coped with these challenges and come to a place where “life is good.”
