Abstract
Samantha is a 37-year-old mother from upstate New York. In this chapter she discusses her struggles with depression in the context of raising five children, two of whom have been diagnosed with autism. She also talks about the impact of the Nurtured Heart Approach® on her parenting and relationships with her children.
