Abstract

Shauna is a 44-year-old mother from New Jersey. She has been diagnosed with depression and in this chapter talks about the loss of her brother to suicide as well as her own personal experience with depression and suicidal thoughts. She also discusses her work with Attitudes in ReverseĀ®, a nonprofit organization with a mission to educate society about mental health.
