Abstract
Before the analog and mixed-signal system designer can use SystemC-AMS, it must be downloaded from the official Accellera Web site (http://www.accellera.org) and then compiled and installed correctly, bearing in mind that SystemC has to be preinstalled on the same computer, but at the same time, the latest SystemC-AMS (1.0) library is fully compatible with the latest stable SystemC (2.3.0). These download, compilation, and final installation steps are examined here.
