Abstract
October 1982 to November 1984. Comet Halley is recovered by a former BAA lunar section member just before Patrick is made BAA President. His Presidency is a very busy one and, during it, George Alcock discovers his fifth comet. Patrick hands the BAA over to Heather Couper after his 2 year term.
