Abstract

The degree distribution of a fountain code is a key evaluation point. Good fountain codes should have low average degrees and fine performance. This paper suggests a way of allocating the source code based on the Robust Soliton Distribution. Input source codes firstly will have wavelet transformation, and then be encoded using unequal error protection (UEP) method with the improved prioritized LT code. Furthermore, a self-adaptive system is mentioned in the paper for saving system resource and a better decode effect.
