Abstract

In this chapter we consider 2-sublattice AFQ spin-nematic states. We use the intuition gained from the 3-sublattice theory presented in Chap. 5 to construct a field theoretical description of the low-energy excitation spectrum, and compare this to a microscopic model with the correct symmetries. We make predictions for inelastic neutron scattering experiments, with the example of spin-1/2 frustrated ferromagnets in mind. We include in this a discussion of the magnon continuum.
