Abstract
Inexpensive, low temperature processable and flexible TEs are essential for the functionality of energy efficient optoelectronic devices, such as OPV cells, OLEDs, and displays. The main limitations of the currently used TEs, including ITO, are related to their high cost, low compatibility with active organic materials and poor mechanically flexibility. This thesis has investigated the properties and applicability of UTMF based TEs, showing that they are an effective and viable alternative to ITO for the optoelectronics industry.
