Abstract

Since climate is one of the most important natural resources any climate change is very relevant for all forms of life. Hence, every facet of life will show climate change impacts. Whether for water supply, food production or health it will often have negative consequences. In this chapter, however, only immediate physical consequences of mean global warming will be described. They are mostly related to the water cycle.
