Zusammenfassung
Die Wundbehandlung mittels Vakuum-Therapie ist fester Bestandteil heutiger Wundbehandlungskonzepte. Bei entsprechender Indikationsstellung besteht aus grundsätzlichen medizinischen Gründen kein Unterschied, ob die Vakuum-Therapie unter ambulanten oder stationären Bedingungen erfolgt. Einschränkungen im Bereich des ambulanten Einsatzes bestehen in einem ungeeigneten sozialen Umfeld, bei nicht geschultem ambulant tätigem Arzt, ungeschultem ambulanten Pflegepersonal und bei fehlender Akzeptanz durch Patientenangehörige. Neben den medizinisch kurativen Indikationsstellungen sind im Homecare-Bereich auch palliative Indikationen gegeben.
Die hohe Patientenakzeptanz wird durch eine Untersuchung mit hohem Evidenzgrad bestätigt.
