Tumoren der Nebennierenrinde und des Nebennierenmarks fallen entweder durch hormonelle Aktivität oder tumorbedingte Symptome auf. Die Patienten werden bei malignen Tumoren somit durch Probleme wie Hypertonus, Hypernatriämie oder Hypokaliämie, aber auch durch lokale Infiltration und Fernmetastasenbildung der Nebenniere gefährdet.
