Zusammenfassung
Flavonoide — Neben Flavonoidglykosiden sind lipophile Methylether von freien Flavonoiden sehr verbreitet; sie sind Bestandteile der durch Knospen und Kätzchen ausgeschiedenen Harze oder Balsame und wurden in großer Zahl für viele Vertreter der Gattungen Alnus, Betula und Ostrya beschrieben (1, 2). Corylus avellana hat in den Winterknospen Glykoside von Kaempferol, Quercetin und Myricetin und in Laubblättern überherrschend das bereits bekannte Myricetin-3-rhamnosid; Hauptglykosid der Winterknospen ist Kaempferol-p-cumaroylglucosid (3). Betula middendorffii hat die Blattflavonoide Hyperin, Isohyperosid und Betmidin (ein Myricetin-3-arabinosid) (4). Pawlowska (5) untersuchte die Blattflavonoide von B. humilis und von 4 Sippen des B. alba-Aggregates genau. In allen Fällen wurden die Flavonolglykoside von wenig Hesperidin begleitet; als Hauptglykoside wurden für B. humilis Rutin und für B. pendula Hyperin, Quercitrin und Myricetin-3-digalaktosid bestätigt; B. obscura verhält sich wie B. pendula; bei den hybridogenen Sippen B. oycoviensis und B. „nova“ tritt zusätzlich konstant und reichlich Myricitrin auf. Quercetin-3-sophorosid aus Pollen von A. cordata (6). Naringenin und Sinapinsäure aus Pollen von B. platyphylla var. japonica (7).
