Abstract
Let H be a fixed real Hilbert space with the inner product [·,·]. A linear operator A acting on H is called positive (see [Krasnoselskii, Zabreiko’ 1975]) if there exists μ > 0 such that
for all x ∈ H. The infimum of all such values of μ i called the positivity coefficient of A and is denoted by μ(A) or μ(A;H).
