Abstract
Broad participation of the symposium audience at the workshop stressed the desperate need to rescue the endangered species by means of habitat management. Although the scope of unresolved questions may be as high as the number of endangered species, the discussion brought positive and unifying demands for specific actions. It was clear that no universal formula exists and problems arising have to be attacked according to the given hydrographieal conditions existing and/or potentially expected.
