Abstract

We shall begin with some purely probabilistic statements. Consider the phase space of a symbolic Markov chain M. More precisely, let Mo be the space of sequences ω = …, ω-n,…, ωo, ω1,…, ωm,…} where each symbol ω k takes one of r values i.e. ω k ∈ {l,ω,r}.
