Abstract

1. The degenerated elliptic boundary value problems for a single equation have been investigated by many mathematicians within the last 30 years and some quite impressive results have been obtained (cf.review [1]). But almost nothing is still known about solvability of such problems for elliptic systems of linear differential equations. Even the simplest systems of such a kind are interesting from this point of view because of their applications.
