Abstract

In order to test the validity of various model equations for nonlinear dispersive systems, it is extremely handy to have some numerical codes to solve dispersive systems of partial differential equations and compare them with the various approximations proposed. To this end, Yi Li1 and I have written some simple codes to be run in Matlab. These solve nonlinear evolution equations in one space variable and then animate the solutions.
