Nonstationary Interpolation Theorems
The interpolation problems introduced in this chapter are nonstationary versions of the ones appearing in Chapter I. In the present chapter the interpolants are not H∞-functions but lower triangular doubly infinite matrices (with operator entries) and the interpolation data depend on an additional quantity which may be viewed as a discrete time parameter. In the next chapter time-varying systems will be used to give a motivation and a further interpretation of the role of this additional time parameter.
