Part of the book series: ISNM International Series of Numerical Mathematics ((ISNM,volume 132))

Abstract

A systematic and general investigation of the moments of Gammaoperators and the higher derivatives of its kernel leads in a very natural way to Laguerre polynomials and to a sequence (φ k ) of polynomials with degree [k/2]. The paper is closed with a computational algorithm for a special linear combination L n,r of Gammaoperators.
