A Mathematical Model of Oscillations Energy Dissipation of Viscous Liquid in a Tank

  • Chapter
Free Boundary Problems in Continuum Mechanics

Abstract

Up to present time an experiment [1,2] rather then a computational method gives the most reliable results on determination of damping factors of viscous liquid oscillations. The reason lies in mathematical difficulties of solving of hydrodynamic problems in setting up which should reflect the physics of the process sufficiently completely.
