Abstract
Chapters 15 and 16 are devoted to the asymptotics of solutions to elliptic boundary value problems in thin domains. Some dimensions of such a domain are negligibly small in comparison with the others. In this chapter we consider a number of problems in mathematical physics. The general boundary value problems are studied in the next chapter.
