Abstract

This model has an in-built hierarchical structure with a finite number of hierarchical levels (see [24]). Later, we will generalize some aspects of the model to a “continuum” of levels. This is of crucial importance for the Parisi picture of the low temperature regime of the SK-model. We start with discussing the model with two levels. The model with finitely many levels will be a straightforward generalization.
