Abstract
In Biel, an interdisciplinary working group on meteorology and air pollution has existed since 1979. This small town at the southern foothills of the Jura mountains is especially suitable for investigations of air pollution because of inversion situations in winter. The objective of this study was to investigate the influence of meteorological and individual air pollution factors on acute airway diseases in children.
