Abstract
Davos has the world’s longest history of continuous measuring of radiation and metereological data. (3) In 1934 LÜDI and coworkers began with the registration of airborne pollens and spores in Davos. (5) The results of their registrations have often been used for medical-scientific research. Comparative measurements of airborne pollens at different locations and especially in different altitudes have been performed for a long time. In the high mountain regions there is an essentially smaller amount of airborne pollens which also differ in their distribution according to the vegetation. It is the contribution of Dr. LEUSCHNER to have published these data for Switzerland. (4)
