Bioelectrochemical Properties of Glutathione. A Noise Spectrography Investigation

  • Chapter
Water and Ions in Biomolecular Systems

Part of the book series: Advances in Life Sciences ((ALS))

Summary

Using the noise spectrography technique we have evaluated, in absence of any applied electrical field, the intrinsic electrochemical properties of the reduced monoanionic glutathione at pH 7. GSH mechanical mobility determination has led us to represent the reduced monoanionic glutathione as a revolution ellipsoid of 16 Å and 10 Å axis lengths.
