Abstract

Many different kinds of convergence require discussion in mathematics. The original kind is the following:

“The series ∑u r is convergent to a sum U if given any ɛ > 0 there is an n0= n0(ɛ) such that the remainder after n terms
$${r_n} = U - \sum\limits_0^{n - 1} {{u_r}} = {u_n} + {u_{n - 1}} + \ldots $$
is less in absolute value than e for all nn0”.
