Morse theory for hamiltonians
The most famous and spectacular theorem we shall prove in this chapter is the convexity theorem of Atiyah  and Guillemin-Sternberg  which asserts that the image of a compact symplectic manifold under the moment map of a hamiltonian torus action is a convex polyhedron (see 4.2.1).
