Abstract
Different techniques are used to get upper and lower bounds of the integral
where 0 < λ <1, 0 < θ <l, 0 < a < b< l. These bounds are used to study the asymptotic behavior of J as a → 0 (with λ and θ fixed). The problem arises in the study of the delay differential equation ρ’(t) = ρ(t)λ + ρ(t-μ(t)).
