Die üblichen Konstruktionen für Blending-Splines auf Dreiecksnetzen benutzen die Technik der Boole’schen Summen und sind demzufolge recht kompliziert (vgl. [1], [2], [3]), entsprechend auch Fehleranalyse und Konvergenzbeweise, ihre Realisierung auf dem Rechner ist zeitaufwendig.
