Abstract

The organisation of drug research has become a burgeoning field for business consultants in recent years who have found a gold mine in investigating, advising on and writing reports on the optimal organisational structure for a company. These activities, however, are predominantly occupied with the “how” of organisation. How can the most profitable structure be established? How can the employees best be motivated? How can costs be kept to a minimum?
