Abstract
Cholera epidemics occur almost regularly even in non-endemic areas. The question ‘How and from whom the first cholera epidemic case gets cholera infection?’ has so far eluded an answer. It is, therefore, essential to find an answer if possible to this question, to be able to effectively prevent a cholera epidemic.
