Abstract
Generally speaking, satisfactory levels have been reached in the treatment of parasitic diseases. Nevertheless, we still do not have a chemotherapic agent that, safely enough, obtains total deworming with one treatment in the majority of cases for hookworm infections, and specially for trichuriasis.
