Abstract

Reading the title of this contribution many pharmacologists, especially medicinal chemists, may assume that this is a presentation in the field of science fiction. They know too well that the design of drugs has been tried for many years but that many, if not most, drugs used in these days are not the products but more the by-products of efforts in drug design.
