Abstract

This review article is intended to give an account of the progress of research in the field of 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) and related indolealkylamines in the last 6 to 7 years. Approximately 2000 papers have appeared on the subject during this period. We shall endeavour to review here the best from the more important ones. The reader is referred to previous review articles for papers preceding 1955.
