Zusammenfassung
Das Phänomen der Supraleitung basiert auf der Bildung von supraleitenden Elektronen-paaren. Diese Paare sind durch anziehende Kräfte oder negative Wechselwirkungs-energie W gebunden. In der BCS-Theorie1) wird das Problem der Paarbildung statisch behandelt, vermittelst eines Energieparameters V. Diese Theorie ist mathematisch relativ einfach, und mit der Wahl dieses einfachen Modells war der geniale Wurf gelungen, der eine gute mikroskopische Beschreibung des supraleitenden Zustandes zum ersten Male gestattete.
