Abstract
An accurate, sensitive and rapid method of quantification is essential for most researchers working with MT but is particularly important for those undertaking physiological and environmental studies. Reliable determinations of tissue levels and induction kinetics, sometimes in different tissues or even different species, puts demands on the choice of method employed. Polarographic analysis using the Brdicka procedure has been shown to meet these demands with few shortcomings (1,2,3,4).
