Mass Transfer of a Reactive Minor Species in a Battery

  • Chapter
Biological Aspects of Electrochemistry

Part of the book series: Experientia Supplementum ((EXS,volume 18))

Summary

A mathematical treatment is presented of the equations governing the mass transfer of a reactive species (ionic) present in small concentration in a battery.

This paper presents the results of one phase of research carried out at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California Institute of Technology, under Contract No. NAS 7-100, sponsored by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
