Abstract
Blends of polyamide fibres with wool, viscose rayon and cellulose triacetate have been examined by differential thermal analysis with a DuPont 920 Thermograph. A procedure is presented which is well suited for the characterisation of fibre blends containing polyamide. Those features of the D.T.A. curves best suited for use in qualitative and quantitative analysis are discussed.
