Abstract
The disappearance of the mushy region in the multidimensional Stefan problem is discussed here. One-phase problem is investigated completely from that point of view. Some criteria of disappearance of the mushy region in the two-phase Stefan problem are suggested. The behaviour of the mushy region in a corner point of domain is studied.
