Zusammenfassung
Wenn man auf einen Berg steigt, sollte man wissen, wo der Gipfel ist, und daß es dorthin keinen völlig mühelosen Weg gibt. Denn wenn man sich dessen nicht bewußt ist, könnte man leicht gangbare Pfade wählen, die gar nicht nach oben führen, sondern irgendwann im Nichts enden, die nur Energie verschwenden und den Bergsteiger frustrieren. Das bei Umweltschützern so populäre Schlagwort von der «nachhaltigen Entwicklung» könnte sich womöglich als solch ein täuschender Pfad herausstellen. Auf den ersten Blick wirkt es vielversprechend, besonders für Leute, die den Blick auf die vor ihnen liegende lange, beschwerliche Klettertour satt haben oder sich noch gar nicht klar darüber sind, was das wesentliche Ziel von Umweltbewußtsein eigentlich sein sollte. Nachdem sie sich schon viel Kopfzerbrechen über dieses so konfuse und strittige Handlungsmotiv gemacht haben, sehen sie nun eine breite, für alle Menschen leicht begehbare Straße vor sich. Deshalb rennen sie darauf zu und fragen gar nicht, ob sie vielleicht in die falsche Richtung führen könnte.
