Abstract

The present status of the construction of the Photon Factory is presented. The Photon Factory is the dedicated synchrotron radiation source, which comprises a 2.5 GeV electron linear accelerator and a storage ring. The construction is in progress on schedule aiming at the first beam at the end of 1981.
