Abstract
The KEK, National Laboratory for High Energy Physics in Japan, plans to construct an electron-proton colliding beam facility, TRISTAN, on its site. TRISTAN consists of storage accelerators for electron and proton beams and injectors for them. The circumferences of the main colliding rings are 3016 m, and the design energy is 25 GeV and 300 GeV for electron and proton beams, respectively. In this report the current status of the proposal is summarized.
