Abstract

Superconducting magnets of accelerator quality are now being produced in quantity and construction has begun on a 1 TeV accelerator. The new machine will be installed in the existing enclosure and use the existing machine as an injector. Future physics programs at Fermilab will be based on a three-stage construction scenario. The status of these three construction phases and of several less clearly defined future options are described in this paper.
