Summary

The nonparametric methods of comparing series of observations allow statistical inference made after some very simple arithmetical operations.

No stringent limitation is to be made as far as the nature of the parent population, this can also be of unknown shape. Particularly interesting is the application of this method to the analysis of t series of observations (with n replications each) either random or within blocks.

For the two cases tables are given of the critical value of the sums of the squares of the rank subtotals.

The tables range from EquationSource% MathType!MTEF!2!1!+- % feaagCart1ev2aqatCvAUfeBSjuyZL2yd9gzLbvyNv2CaerbuLwBLn % hiov2DGi1BTfMBaeXatLxBI9gBaerbd9wDYLwzYbItLDharqqtubsr % 4rNCHbGeaGqiVu0Je9sqqrpepC0xbbL8F4rqqrFfpeea0xe9Lq-Jc9 % vqaqpepm0xbba9pwe9Q8fs0-yqaqpepae9pg0FirpepeKkFr0xfr-x % fr-xb9adbaqaaeGaciGaaiaabeqaamaabaabaaGcbaGaamiDaiabg2 % da9iaaiodacqGH3daUcaaI2aaaaa!3BAC! ]></EquationSource><EquationSource Format="TEX"><![CDATA[$$ t = 3 \div 6 $$ and EquationSource% MathType!MTEF!2!1!+- % feaagCart1ev2aqatCvAUfeBSjuyZL2yd9gzLbvyNv2CaerbuLwBLn % hiov2DGi1BTfMBaeXatLxBI9gBaerbd9wDYLwzYbItLDharqqtubsr % 4rNCHbGeaGqiVu0Je9sqqrpepC0xbbL8F4rqqrFfpeea0xe9Lq-Jc9 % vqaqpepm0xbba9pwe9Q8fs0-yqaqpepae9pg0FirpepeKkFr0xfr-x % fr-xb9adbaqaaeGaciGaaiaabeqaamaabaabaaGcbaGaamOBaiabg2 % da9iaaiodacqGH3daUcaaIYaGaaGimaaaa!3C5C! ]></EquationSource><EquationSource Format="TEX"><![CDATA[$$ n = 3 \div 20 $$ and are calculated for the probability levels P = 90, 95, 99.
