Zusammenfassung
Zur approximativen Lösung von linearen Gleichungen in Hilberträumen kann man neben der Gaußschen Fehlerquadratmethode auch die Ritzsche Methode verwenden, falls es sich um eine Gleichung mit einem positiv definiten Operator handelt. Von verschiedenen Autoren wurde gezeigt, daß die Ritzsche Methode stets vorteilhafter ist als die Fehlerquadratmethode, so 1966 von J. NITSCHE [7] für unbeschränkte Operatoren, 1971 von mir [8] für Gleichungen zweiter Art mit kompakten Operatoren. Für Gleichungen erster Art findet man entsprechende Aussagen bei J.N. FRANKLIN [2] und von mir [10]. Hier soll das Konvergenzverhalten insbesondere der endlich dimensionalen Approximationen unter gewissen Glattheitsvoraussetzungen für die Ritzsche Variante der Tikhonov-Regularisierung untersucht werden, entsprechende Aussagen für die Fehlerquadratmethode finden sich in einer Arbeit von C.W. GROETSCH, J.T. KING und D. MURIO [5].
