Zusammenfassung
Die Verwendung von radioaktiven Nukliden zur Lösung wissenschaftlicher und technischer Probleme ist seit der Entdeckung der künstlichen Radioaktivität durch Irene und Frederic Joliot-Curie im Jahre 1934 und besonders durch die Inbetriebnahme von Kernreaktoren eine unentbehrliche Untersuchungsmethode geworden. Zum Studium organisch-chemischer Reaktionsabläufe, medizinischer und biologischer Probleme kann man die Radionuklide nicht ohne weiteres in ihrer anorganischen Form anwenden. Oftmals müssen sehr komplizierte Markierungsmethoden angewandt werden, wobei der organischen Materie immanente Nuklide wie 3H, 14C, 32P und 35S, aber auch Heteroatome wie 75Se, 99mTc, 125I, 131I eingesetzt werden.
