Zusammenfassung
In diesem Beitrag soll versucht werden, Verbindungen zwischen zwei Gebieten der Mathematik zu schildern, zwischen der Darstellungstheorie und der Kombinatorik. Beginnen wir mit dem Allgemeinverständlichen, der zweiten Disziplin. Ein Kombinatoriker beschäftigt sich damit, alles mögliche mit endlichen Mengen anzustellen und sich dann zu fragen, wie oft er das tun kann. Als endliche Mengen bevorzugen wir hier Mengen der Gestalt {1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9}, allgemein {1,2,..., n} für eine positive ganze Zahl n.
