Abstract

The flexural behavior at design load and ultimate load of unbonded pre-stressed slabs with additional bonded reinforcement are investigated. For this purpose, several idealized models for slab strips and rectangular slabs are developed. By using these theoretical models it is possible to compute tendon stress increases, membrane forces, and load-deflection relationsships.
