Abstract
In this paper we consider the numerical solution of operator equations of the form Ax = Fx, where xeZ, A is a linear and F (in general) a nonlinear operator on Z. Using the contraction mapping theorem in a space Z with a generalized distance ? we get convergence results and error estimates for the parallel chord method.
