Abstract
In this section we are looking for conditions which allow us to invert a map f : X → Y , especially \(f:\mathbb{R}^M \, \rightarrow \,\mathbb{R}^N\). The simple case of a linear operator f indicates that a reasonable assumption is that M = N.
